Once again it has been forever and a day since the last update. (Content that ws here has been removed and moved to my blog) Nereia was accepted into the School of Education at USF here in Tampa, so in May 2009 she we graduate and be able to teach, something she is truly excited about. I am going into the third semester (of four) in nursing, and working in the CardioVascular ICU at Tampa General Hospital. While some of the nurses seem to be "burned out" working in such a high acuity area, I am looking forward to the challenge, if I am hopefully offered a position upon my graduation next May.

Once again I have finally updated the site and added some more photos to the Picasa web-album. This time the photos are from an August trip Nereia, Nereia's mom Nancy, and I took to California. Todd and Jackie were gracious enough to host us at their newly acquired house for the duration, and we can not tell you how much we loved it! There is nothing like warm days and cool nights in California. Hopefully they will let us move in with them soon ;-) We also got to see Megan and Justin when they drove from Reno to San Jose to visit, and then we drove to Reno to see them! California was awesome as always, and Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Virginia City were pretty cool. Megan and Justin managed to cram in a lot for us to see and do in the limited amount of time we have in Nevada, and we totally miss them :-(
Aside from that, Nereia and I have been busy in school since then...me with Nursing school stuff, and Nereia with Anthropology research and honors work. Angelique gave birth to Savannah on the 9th, and she is totally cute! Hopefully I can get the full sized photos to post here soon. Till next time!

After losing virtually all my web design data for this site, and others, that I have worked on for the past year in a hard drive failure a few weeks ago (and then a total computer failure the week after), I was reluctant to start over. Especially since I had numerous files for a new design for Wathey.com that was in the works already. However, with Nereia's encouragement, I present to you this new design.
